London & New York: Hoddder & Stoughton, 1911. Limited edition. Hardcover. Near fine. Folio. Full vellum tooled in gilt and blue on the spine and upper board; top edge gilt, pictorial endpapers. Illustrated with twenty full color tipped-in plates by Eleanor Brickdale. Ribbon ties have been replaced, else this is a fine, bright copy with barely a trace of soil or wear. Neat ownership name on the front free endpaper.


Contains "Enid," "Vivien," "Elaine" and "Guinevere" from Tennyson's Idylls. The designs on the upper board and spine incorporate Arthur's sword with crowns and hearts.


One of 350 copies signed by the artist. This is No. 86.

Vellum soiled and lightly rubbed with a few red spots in the lower left quadrant,, boards yawning, ties perished, else a very good copy. Contains "Enid," "Vivien," "Elaine" and "Guinevere" from Tennyson's Idylls. The designs on the upper board and spine incorporate Arthur's sword with crowns and hearts.
