About This Item

Paris: Flammarion, 1998. First French Language Edition . Trade Paperback. Very Good +. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 346, [12] pp; very minor wear, including a small crease near top edge of front cover; perhaps a review copy, as what appears to be "service de presse" is neatly stamped on inside back cover. [05]

Synopsis

Idoru is the second book in William Gibson's Bridge trilogy. Idoru is a science-fiction novel set in a postmodern, dystopian, cyberpunk future. The main character, Colin Laney, has a talent for identifying nodal points, analogous to Gibson's own: As of 2006, an anime adaptation of Idoru is rumoured to be in the early stages of development.
