Baltimore: Founders, Inc, 1959. First edition. Hardcover. fine/very good. Firts edition (so stated on the title page). Hardcover in blue cloth stamped in gilt. xvi (with two indexes)+ 414 pp. Fine in a bright, crisp dust jacket, very good with a bit of rubbing in small area of the front panel and shallow wear to the spine extremities and rear panel edges. Collection of some 200 short descriptions (usually one or two pages) of business ideas that caught on and of the originating companies and founders. These include household names such as Abbott Labs, Ford, Three M, Greyhound, Hertz, Hershey, Hoover, etc as well as lesser known names like Collins Radio, Fostoria Glass, Cory, Bird & Son and others.
