[2], 5-522 pp. Blue publisher's cloth with pink and blue decorations and gold lettering on the front board and spine; all edges decoratively marbled. Green floral endpapers and pastedowns. Edited by John Wesley Hanson, Jr. and Lillian Woodward Gunckel. Illustrated with a double-sided frontispiece and with nineteen double-sided full-page illustrations mounted on plates. Most of the illustrations depict young women posing in the author's recommended orator postures. Front hinge cracked and a pencil annotation on the final leaf of text.
