New York: Simon & Schuster, 1956. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. Hardcover/ DJ (has price $2.95), both VG condition. Stated First Edition, 1st Printing- no note of further ones. DJ shows some rubbing, soil, toning & edge wear (all pretty minor); 2 closed tear at bottom of front panel w/ inside tape repair (almost missed this). NO scuffs or sun discolor. DJ still displays well. Book is VG to Near Fine. Blue board binding w/ red cloth spine bright, clean, tight & square w/ little to no wear. NO bumps, frays, rubs or scuffs. All gold spine lettering bright, crisp & intact. 1"" circular inkstamp on front endpapers. Text is tight, clean & unmarked w/ light toning. NO hinge splits, owner names, etc.; NOT ex library. Handsome, well preserved copy.
