Norton and Co., New York., 1976. First Edition First Printing.. Hardcover.. Fine/Near FIne. 8 3/8 x 5 3/4 x 7/8.. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Very Gently Read. Book FINE/ Dust Jacket Near Fine. Boards and spine are blue cloth, lettering gilt. Dust jacket is white/blue, lettering red/blue, colour photo front and black/white sketches on back. Dust jacket is price clipped, has a bit of age darkening on DJ spine edges and flap folds, spine has some minor creases at top and bottom and a few tiny chips. Book itself has covers and spine flat, clean, bright, no rips, no bent corners, a few small creases at top and bottom of spine, two tiny white dots on back cover. Inner end papers are maps, same front and back. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Four sections of Black/white plates and five sections of colour photo plates & black/white sketches and maps. First single-handed voyage to Antarctica.

I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
