Over. 7500pp. Series 12 No.5 through Series 14 No.3 (1930-1940) inclusive. Illustrated throughout with color plates, maps, charts, folding plates, black and white photographs, diagrams etc. The pre-eminent journal for ornithology, A quite rare run of a complete decade of this journal. All very clean and generally unmarked interiors, with no stainds, tears, creases etc. Includes scholarly articles on ornithology from every part of the world. Minimal library markings including small very discreet armorial bookplate on pastedowns, minmal library markings to first few pages and library numbers to spines. 1940s bindings are a very square binding with large white library title labels. A remarkably well preserved run of this now quite uncommon record of a period of noteworth progress for British ornithologists and world-wide ornithology An important research tool. Very good plus.
