About This Item

G. P. Putnam & Sons, New York, 1967. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Very Good. The dust jacket is rubbed across both top and bottom edges, short tear at the top of the front fold over, small chip at the top right of the spine. Small chip at the bottom of the rear fold over. Age toning of the page edges, grubby market the top of the front free end page, where pencil prices have been overwritten and rubbed out. Internally clean, no annotations, no marking no foxing. "What young Roy Clark wants to be is a woman. To his widower father, he is strange and incomprehensible. To his married sister, he is a misguided youth in need of sympathy and counselling. To self, he is a woman hopelessly trapped within a man's body. His painstaking and inevitably tragic efforts to realise what he feels is his true self form the heart of this novel." – Front fold over blurb Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Literature & Literary; Gender; Inventory No: 0270318. .
