About This Item
Toronto: The Canadian Protestant League, 1949. First edition. Card wrappers (5" x 7 ½") printed in blue, 143 pp, illus. Very light wear to wrappers, but about Near Fine. The author describes his reasons for leaving the priesthood and concludes each chapter with a short biography of a priest who has done the same. He discusses the intrusion of Rome in politics and education, the mental torture of confession, the historical failures of celibacy and chastity, and the detestable profit-driven rituals of the mass. A scathing indictment. Included are photographs of ex-priests.
