Forty-seven poems in all, many published for the first time here. Warmly inscribed and signed by Bradbury on the f.f.e.p. "Dear ____, My Grandfather thanks you!, I thank you! Blessings, Ray Bradbury." In 2005, we came into possession of a number of aged books once belonging to Bradbury’s grandfather and returned them to Ray as a gift. A letter of thanks arrived a short time later, followed in turn by this signed copy of "I Live By The Invisible." In the letter, typed on his stationery and bearing a large Joseph Mugnaini illustration at the top from "The Halloween Tree," Ray recounts how he had recently uncovered some 19th century love letters exchanged between his grandparents during the time of their courtship and concludes, "if their love affair had not ended in marriage, I would not be writing to you now."
