London: MacMillan and Co., Limited, 1921. First Edition, First Impression . Cloth Bound Boards. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 1921 First Edition. Size octavo, 148 pages plus 2 pages of publishers advertisements. Black cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the spine, no dust jacket. Condition very good, corners and spine ends rubbed, offsetting to front end-paper, a few spots to first and last few pages else contents clean. This was the copy belonging to Biographer and Critic Malcolm Elwin, He has signed and dated the front end-paper and put a note to himself referring to a review of the book in The Saturday Review of Dec 24th 1921 in The Pleasures of Ignorance by Robert Lynd. - A collection of Essays
