About This Item
San Antonio, TX: The Naylor Company, 1944 Pictorial Cover. Fair+/No Jacket. Ninth Printing. Major Publisher. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book is a little rough to look at, but the inside text pages are fine and it contains 500 Texas jokes/tales. Back cover has numbers inked on it with ink scribbles on the inside of the back cover and the front cover has a moisture stain on the front edge. Still a good reading copy of an old book on Texas..

About Brenda's Bookshelf
Brenda's Bookshelf was originally opened as Fort Logan Bookstore which was established in 1993 as a storefront and mail order business. The name change was due to Brenda's husband's serious health problems and the need to put the business in Brenda's name. Inventory was placed on the Internet in 1998 and has operated on several major book servers since then. It is located on a major highway in Central Texas.
