Endpapers are illustrated by map of Australia. Within the text there are four black and white photographs. Red coloured boards with titles on the backstrip. Red coloured tint to the top text block edge. previous owner's bookplate pasted to the half title page, and on the verso of the front end page there is a note to a father dated 1939 from one of the daughters. Otherwise apart from very slight fading of the spine, a nice clean copy. The author came out to Australia in the 1930s and worked and travelled around Australia. This is a recounting of those times.
