Garden City, NY: Doubleday, 1948. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Very early, but not first edition. Octavo format in beige cloth, illustrations in text, dust jacket. Text is Nearly Fine with "Bob Xmas 1948" inscribed on ffep, bump to bottom-front board. Dust jacket is price-clipped, with light edge-wear, few short edge-tears, around 1/8" loss to spine ends. An attractive copy. Scarce in dust jacket.
