Milwaukee: The Bruce Publishing Company, 1962. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Full brown cloth. Spine discoloured. Damp staining to top corner of ffep and half-title. Foxing to edges of text block. Dust jacket is cropped to flaps (but not price clipped), edge worn, sunned to spine, lightly stained to rear. Mr. Doherty says the idea for this book came to him recently in a kind of a dream-like experience during a stay in a hospital. So vivid and deep was the impression it made that he began work at once on this collection of "Love Letters to the Most High." The letter-essays cover a wide variety of subjects: the fascinating world of nature; the world of men and the world of the Church; and the author's own personal experiences in each.
