Text block is largely loose and disbound, though apparently complete, including frontis illustration and adverts at end. Pencil notations featuring "Different names given to OUr Saviour and God" to verso of frontis. Albert Midlane (23 January 1825 - 27 February 1909) was a British poet who wrote several hundred hymns, most notably "There's a Friend for Little Children." A scarce signed volume of his work.
