His career, ranging over two world wars and including comand of both the 'Queens' and his appointment as R.N.R. aide-de-camp to George VI, is packed with incident, drama and humour. He also discusses the passengers, both famous and infamous. 203 x 140mm., pp. frontis, 256, b/w plates, minor marks & foxing to content pages (mainly first few pages & edges), d.j. slight rub/wear top spine & edges, no chips or tears. VG/VG+
