Binding is tight, sturdy, and square. Brown cloth boards are lightly worn and faded particularly near edges and head and heel of spine. Gold gilt titling on spine remains clearly readable. Light foxing to text blocks. Previous owner's name stamped on front pastedown and written of front end paper. Text and images are very good throughout. Unclipped dust jacket ($8.95) has chips/tears, age toning, surface abrasions to front where an old label was removed. Jacket arrives wrapped in protective Mylar.
