Good only boards with vellum spine- marked in general and particularly to spine. Contents vg , spine slightly cracked but tightly bound. Profusely illustrated throughout with etchings , lithographs , enamels and woodcuts , most with tissue guards. Pages are rough cut , no owner names inside. Inner page states that this book is one of only 85 copies printed on Arnold`s unbleached handmade paper- this being no.21. This is a massive book and overseas post would be prohibitive , so u.k only. Cant find another copy although there appears to be a much smaller version printed at the same time. Exterenally not very good but nice internally- worth a rebind for an avid collector - Very unusual item. George Bell and Sons, London, 1901. Hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition.
