Oxford, Blackwell,. Hardback. xiii, 299pp. Includes sections on Primary, secondary and university education for rich and poor in the nineteenth and early twentieth century. Also includes sections on women's education and teacher training. the section on experimental schools includes pieces on Bedales and Summerhilll amongst others. Brown boards with silver titles to spine are very clean and neat. Dust wrapper is rubbed and has some surface loss. Dust wrapper has been permanently covered in plastic which keep closed some longish tears. Very good copy in poor dust wrapper . Hardback. 1969.
