From jacket: "This book covers thoroughly the subjects of stenciling and brush-stroke painting. The 12 patterns can be easily enlarged or reduced according to instructions. Details for selection of all working material are included." Contents include: Single and Double Unit Stencil Patterns The Built-Up Stencil Simple Brush-Stroke Painting Brush-Stroke Painting in the More Elaborate Manner Eighteenth Century Gold and Paint Decoration Foxing to inside covers, inside jacket flaps and endpapers. We did not note any foxing within the text. Name on fep. Jacket is chipped at top and bottom of spine and corners and has significant edgewear. Family historians: the name in the book is Charlotte Edmonstone. . Cloth. Good/Good. Illus. by Blanchard, Roberta Ray. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
