About This Item
London: Country Life Ltd., 1948. Book. Illus. by Lyne, Michael. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Gilt-stamped green cloth boards are square with some sunning of spine. Text block is intact, pages are clean and text is unmarked. Very interesting inscription by illustrator on front pastedown. This is a respectable copy - square and clean, tight and bright. The color illustrations are slightly crinkled as if they were once damp but there is absolutely no evidence on the other pages that this book was ever wet. More photos available upon request..
