Edited by noted occultist, Rollo Ireton, the Horoscope was a short run periodical, from 1902-1904, devoted to astrology and the occult topics. It was one of the first periodicals to draw attention to arcane topics and lesser practiced subjects, including animal horoscopy. Topics include: Cabalistic astrology, geomancy, crystal gazing, clairvoyance, magic, psychic communication, subconsciousness, and telepathy. Formerly owned by Alfred Pearce, noted 19th century astrologer. Starting spine, bumped corners, toning throughout, small loss to front endpaper, otherwise clean and bright. 263pp. + illus, index (front). Brilliant green cloth boards with gilt decorative titling and elements. (ex library stamp inner).
