Frederick Warne & Co Ltd., 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. 440 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt black and gilt lettering and decoration to front and spine. Contains monochrome illustrations. Bevelled edged boards. Pages remain mostly clear with light tanning and foxing throughout and some occasional marking. Moderate foxing to text block edge. Prize presentation plate to front paste-down. Front hinge is cracked hence text block is loose. Boards are moderately marked and stained and have wear to edges, bumping to corners, crushing and fraying to spine.
