Frontis (with tissue guard) and three color illustrations by Charles E. Brock. An early novel, by Farnol, who along with Georgette Heyer, founded the Regency romantic genre. Former owner's name on front free endpaper, slight sunning to spine, else an otherwise unmarked, clean copy.
