The author covers the history of colonial furnishings by examining the Colonial collection at the American Wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. "Illustrated with Many Elegant Plates" Original blue cloth publisher's covers with silver spine lettering and cover decoration. The spine is spotted, else a nice clean, tight and unmarked book. The dust jacket has chips and tears and a long split at the spine. This is a large, heavy book and additional charges may be required depending on destination. ; B&W & Color Illustrations & Photographs; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 302 pages .
