Gilt decorations and title on the spine. A couple of small light spots to the binding. Inscribed by the author - "Very Truly Yours James Whitcomb Riley" on the right front flyleaf. A Christmas inscription partly rubbed out is written below Riley's inscription - "To my dear daughter Christmas 1900. [name?] Mama
