About This Item
London: Eveleigh Nash, 1909. No dustwrapper, minor bumping to spine ends and corners of red boards, also some old water-stains. Some fading to spine and rubbing to the black titles thereon, but they are still readable; those on front board are still clear, very slight rubbing to edges of b&w picture of man doing stretches. A previous owner's name on f/ep, binding a bit loose at pp60-61 and to a lesser degree at pp76-77, but otherwise a good clean copy off this not-very common hard-cover book. About half the book deals with the author's ideas on the value of exercise, the other half with three sets of exercises, intended for ladies, men and stronger ladies, and for stronger men. 122pp, 35 b&w illustrations.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
