About This Item

Each of the 20 stories from 1930s/1940s Weird Tales is side-stapled with brittle paper, neatly stacked and inserted into handmade cardboard covers joined by fasteners, with “Weird Tales” title pasted to front along with a creepy hand (both from original magazines)—handwritten on front and spine are the authors included: Clark Ashton Smith (3), Paul Ernst (4), Robert Arthur (4), Nictzin Dyalhis (2), Henry Kuttner (3), Thorp McClusky (2), and Clifford Ball (2). A testament to the impact of Weird Tales, the fantasy/horror pulp launched in 1923, this being a fan’s personal anthology.
