New York: American Bible Society. Good. 1850. Softcover. 35th edition. Black polished calf leather stiff wraps with tab at fore edge of rear cover slipping into a leather loop on front cover. Moderate rubbing and edgewear. Dulled and rubbed "BIBLE" in gilt to spine. A|ll edges gilt, with moderate rubbing and scuffing. Binding mostly sound, with cracking starting at hinges, and last few pages loose. Interior lightly toned and with light soil from handling. Minor dampstaining to first/last few pages. Print is very small, capitals being only 1mm tall. Gift inscription in ink to ffep dated 1851. No stickers or stamps. ; 32mo 4" - 5" tall; 979 pages .
