Continued from Title page:" Newly Translated out of the Original Tongues: and with the Former Revelations Diligently Compared and Revifed. His Special Command appointed to be read in Churches." Text in Olde English spelling. Original brown leather on boards; gilt titles and gilt and blindstamped decoratives/ tooling and boarder trims. Spine: Four sets of double raised ribs; gilt trims. Edges: gilt; moderate rubbed wear; when fanned old foxing and soiling. Eps: marbled with new blue thin tape repair to hinges; gilt decorative border trim; moderate wear and soiling. Head ffep with Olde English signature; couple of small puncture holes ( perhaps ex-stapler?) Moderate to some heavy foxing throughout. Fldg maps are present, foxing; some with white near clear tape repairs to folds. Binding is strong, As New. Two blue ribbon bookmarkers. Heavy: 270 x 240 x 190 mm / 4 kgs. HB. VG/None.
