About This Item

Porter & Coates, Philadelphia, 1894. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo, hardcover, blue cloth. Top edges gilt. Near fine condition in vg+ cloth wrappers. Publisher's cloth protectors have kept volumes in near pristine condition; gilt titles and cover decorations sharp and bright. Very slight foxing to front edges of textblocks, only noticeable flaw. Contents clean, no marking or writing. 273, 275 pp., numerous illustrations, foldout map. A lovely example of a 19th century 'gift book'
