Copyright 1894, translated from the 13th Edition of the Italian by Helen Zimmern, TWO Volumes in original slipcase, Very Good Plus or better, nicely bound in red cloth hardback with gilt title to spine that shows some fading, gilt tulip ornamentation to front boards bright and crisp, Top Edge Gilt, Volume 1: 273 Pages, Volume 2: 275 pages with Fine map bound in rear, , tight and square, sharp corners, No previous owner bookplate or writing, heavily illustrated with period sepia toned images with captioned tissue guards, clean end papers, Slipcase is Good Plus, shows some wear and rear panel is plain paper. Very nice copy at a Bargain price. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
