Hofjuden by DEEG, Peter - 1939

Nürnberg: Der Stürmer, 1939. A history of the court Jew - Jews who facilitated financial transactions with the regal nobility of Europe - as a source of Germany's age-old Jewish Problem. The book was written by lawyer, professor, and NSDAP member, Dr. Peter Deeg, who was also a protege of Nazi propagandist, Julius Streicher. The book was first published in 1938 by Streicher and presented by him to Adolf Hitler who contributes a foreword.

Blue cloth boards (6" x 8 ½") stamped in gilt, blue topstain, 547 p., color frontis + plates printed on glossy paper, folding chart in rear (30" x 8"). Gilt flaking to spine letters, else a Near Fine copy.
