New York: Knopf, 1920. First Edition . Soft cover. Near Fine. Near fine in original wrappers showing light fading toward edges of front and back covers. This copy is signed on the title-page by Mencken. Two essays on Mencken's work, "Fanfare" by Burton Rascoe and "The American Critic" by Vincentj O'Sullivan and a bibliography by F.C. Henderson. Mencken certainly participated in the publication of the pamphlet on his work. Two portraits of Mencken are included as well as a facsimile of the title-page of Ventures into Verse and the satirical drawing, "The Subconscious Mencken".
