Tail of spine very slightly worn with 2 minute nicks to cloth, tiniest bump to corners, lower cover slightly unevenly faded, 1 or 2 very minor marks to cloth, erased pencil inscription on front endpaper, showing slightly, edges faintly foxed, occasional pale fox spot to margins. Very good plus copy (lacking dustwrapper). Author and artist of this delightful popular doll book were American. It first appeared in the US in 1929 with the subtitle: My First Five Hundred Years.
