Paris: Limited Editions Club, 1952. Sauvage, Sylvain.. First edition thus, one of 1,500 numbered copies. Translated from the French by Boswell with the introduction by Rene de Messieres. Illustrations and page-margin decorations by Sylvain Sauvage who completely finished them "just before his lamentable death" (and hence they are unsigned). Fine in gold marbled, foil-covered slipcase with minor chipping and edge wear.
