It contains a great deal of information on the early ministers, churches and leaders of the synod, including the Women's Home and Foreign Missionary Society. Extensively illustrated with pictures of the churches and their ministers. Numerous lists of ministers of the churches and the years in which they served. Chapter IX provides tables of statistics, including officers, financial accounts, dates of church group organizations, founding of churches, attendance figures, etc. Size: 7.5"-8" - Small Octavo (Sm. 8vo). 582 pages. Item Type: Book. Text block is tight and unmarked, though the pages have toned with age. Hardbound in dark blue cloth over boards with an embossed frame on the front cover with the title and synod emblem in bright gilt. Title and publisher's device, also in bright gilt, on the spine. Corners sharp with some shelf wear at the tips. Light wear at the head and foot of the spine. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing, though slightly tanned. Quantity Available: 1.
