Corners bumped, edgewear, label has some minor chips and soiled. Back hinge is just starting to crack, threads are visible. Previous owner's signature on free facing end page. Age toning, light foxing. Text clean, and unmarked. binding sound. Solid copy. With the preface to the second editon, which was published in 1894.
