Oaks, Pa: John U. Francis, 1922. Cloth. Very Good. Maroon cloth with title lettering gilt; 164 pps plus index, folding map at rear, illustrated. History of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania together with a biography of the author and the author's father, who was a soldier with Washington's army at the famed encampment during the winters of 1777 and 1778. Significant amounts of local history including historic houses, estates and farms. Very good.
