New York: Society of Iconophiles, 1930. Limited edition. Hardcover. Very good condition. First edition, limited issue, one of 186 copies, illustrated with numerous collotype plates, all very bright and clean.

The society was formed in 1894 by William L. Andrews (1837-1920), "in search of the historical and picturesque" in order to preserve the historical heritage of the city of New York. Includes catalogues of prints and books published by the Society.

4to, xii, color frontispiece, 290pp, plates, teg. Original quarter tan morocco with tan boards. Gilt emblem of the society at the front board, gilt title to spine. Spine gently rubbed, front board slightly dusty; plates bright and clean.
