Sabine Baring-Gould (1834-1924) Žtait un ministre anglican aux intŽrts des plus Žclectiques et de ce fait, ˆ la bibliographie dŽconcertante (environ 1240 publications). Edition originale de cette monographie passionnante sur l'aventure remarquable de James Brooke (1803-1868) et son neveu Charles (1829-1917), qui rŽgnrent sur le sultanat de Sarawak, vassal de Brunei, depuis 1841. Leur famille conserva ce tr™ne exotique jusqu'en 1946.
