Full olive green leather with edges and spine toned to brown; slightly chipped title label to spine; gilt lettering and decoration. Light edgewear and rubbing, and slightly bumped corners. Marbled text block. Binding solid and sound. Interior lightly toned. Engraved title page depicts Canterbury Cathedral. Presentation bookplate with lengthy Latin text and a bookbinder's label to front pastedown (Carss of Glasgow). Previous owner name in colored pencil to ffep. Not ex-library. ; 24mo 5" - 6" tall; 355 pages .
