Some edge soiling, DJ somewhat worn and soiled. Reprint from the second edition. The most comprehensive history to date with chapter divisions by state and colonial region. Originally published in 1810, this history was based on Thomas's own collection which became the foundation of the American Antiquarian Society library which Thomas founded in 1812.
