Byrne and Others, 1792. odd volume, in original full calf binding, corners worn and bumped, spine worn at ends, labels mostly missing, rear hinge partly cracked but holding, insect damage affecting the margins of a few pages, not affecting text, text block otherwise clean and sound, 628 pages plus index. Though not billed as such, it is effectively a translation of Brucker's work. This volume begins with Book 3, the philosophy of the Romans. First Dublin printing (the London edition was the previous year). Scarce.. First Edition. Full-Leather. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
