The Florentine Edition, limited to 250 copies, number 145. Illustrated with two hundred tipped in plates in colour. A glorious set, undated but published 1910-1915. Haldane was one of the great art critics who traced the relationship between the master and his student. His final work was a spirited defense of his friend Aubrey Beardsley. Contents: v. 1.
