Winnipeg, Manitoba.: Privately published.. Very Good. 1956. First Edition. Softcover. 8vo - 21 x 14 cm.; 49 - (3) pp. Card stock wraps with a photographic front cover. Subtitled: "An historical study of the founding of a church and of its development over a period of forty-five years". Illustrated with 2 maps, one a general one of Manitoba on the inside of the front cover and a more detailed one of the Gimli District on the inside of the back cover. The church began as a summer chapel, then became a mission chapel and finally a parish church as the population and need increased. Two pages of footnotes at the back. The previous owner, a chaplain at the RCAF staion in Sumerside, PEI, has stamped his name in several places, 11 in all, within the book but all on blank pages or margins. Otherwise the book shows very mild wear to the externals with a sound binding. .
