New York: Richardson and Company , 1867. In original plum embossed cloth binding with pale yellow end papers, gilt lettering at spine dulled yet legible. Very Good, spine a bit sunned, hinges open yet holding quite well, small tears to cloth at head of spine. All four maps present and Fine. An unrestored copy in original binding, uncommon thus. From the collection of Joseph Hyde Pratt, his ownership signature front end page. Pratt was a noted North Carolina geologist, conservationist, state and civic leader and WWI hero. . First Edition. Embossed Cloth. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
