London, A. Strahan, T.N. Longman, O. Rees, 1803 1st. Two Volumes. Hardback, Size approx 8.5 x 5 inches. Halfbound calf leather and marbled paper to boards. Raised banding and full gilt decoration to spines, twin leather spine labels. Marbled endpapers and page edges. In very good conditions. Rubbing to edges and corners of boards, corners and spine ends bumped/chipped. Frontis plates moderately foxed, some darkening to main title pages. Maps with some minor darkening/foxing, crease and small tears to leading edge of map “Seat of War” (p.xv). Moderate foxing to pages throughout. Bindings tight and sound. Else a very good clean and tight copies. 2 vols: cxiv + 359pp & xi + 514pp. Illustrated with 2 folding B&W engraved maps (xv & p1.), and 2 B&W engraved frontis plates.
