Hardcover. xxvii, 413p., illustrated with two folded maps (a modern line map and a facsimile) and hardbound in medium-blue cloth boards gilt-titled (spine) and a decorative golden map to cover. We detect two flaws: front free endsheet was scissored out (rather roughly); and, that the facsimile was reproduced unnecessarily dark & badly folded by its Stanford designer. Item is otherwise excellent: it has the dust jacket (edgeworn but no dj text affected) and is sound, bright, tight & square, clean and unmarked.
